Granny is sixty-five. She is kind and funny. She likes cooking, and she makes the best apple pies in the world! She can knit, too. Last winter she knitted a warm green scarf for me.
Grandpa is sixty-eight. He is tall and strong, and he wears glasses. He likes fishing, reading newspapers and playing chess. He teaches me to play chess, but I can’t win yet!
Every summer I visit them. I help Granny in the garden, and Grandpa and I go fishing in the river. In the evening we drink tea, and Grandpa tells me stories about his childhood. I love my grandparents very much!
